How to Design a Special and Romantic Birthday Gift

A birthday, whoever's it might be, is a special event and we indulge in a lot of plans and programs to make that person's day special. But among all the birthdays that are eagerly awaited, the one that we look forward to the most is undoubtedly our lover's birthday.
Our lover/fiance/fiancee/spouse/sweetheart is the most special person in our lives and naturally we try to leave no stones unturned to make this annual rendezvous an affair to remember for the next one year.
Cook a gourmet dinner for her or gift him a scuba diving/hot air balloon/dolphin swimming/paragliding trip with you.
A special gift basket or picnic hamper containing two bottles of champagne or sparkling wine, premium quality caviar, crackers, two champagne glasses, and a knife will be an ideal gift for a lover who likes class, sophistication and understated elegance.
If you want to make it even more special and go the whole hog, then take him/her out on a candlelight full fledged dinner at a romantic seaside or riverside high end restaurant or atop a luxury yacht.
Spice up a champagne and caviar treat with a chocolate indulgence the feel good elixir that will kindle his/her desires.
Not only will romantic gift hampers touch his/her heart, but it will lend some romance to your relationship and add that necessary spark and fizz that is lost through years of familiarity.
If you can't afford highly expensive gifts for your beloved, saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY with cards, scented candles, cute teddies and a bouquet of flowers will be equally satisfying for your girlfriend.
If you are in a naughty mood, then you can consider gifting your longtime partner sexy/edible lingerie, edible honey dust or sweet chocolate syrup/sauce, edible body paint, a feather, essential aromatic oils that will ignite passion, vanilla or strawberry massage cream/gel and love liquid all packed inside an elegant wood and glass boudoir.
Of course it will make your intentions crystal clear to her, but you may be assured that she will love it. Keep it on her bedside or a night stand beside her bed, just before she goes to sleep and watch her passionate ecstasy come alive.
Or maybe you can consider gifting him/her romantic books like Love Story, Gone With The Wind, romantic movie or music DVDs or a DVD where you have recorded a special love song/lyrical poem created by you especially for him/her or maybe you can write a personalized novella for him/her if you are creative enough.
But these are all mostly material gifts. The best birthday gift you can present him/her with is your love, life-long commitment and gentle affection. No material gift can ever come close to that.
