Must Have Camping Supplies for the Intelligent Camper

Imagine this scenario, you just finished successfully presenting to your boss the report that you have spent countless hours completing, you are tired and all stressed out.

You went back to your cubicle, took a deep breathe, and said to yourself I need a vacation, I deserve to have a break. You then think of places where you can get away, away from the busy corporate world, away from the polluted city atmosphere -you want a breathe of fresh air. You then decided that you want to go outdoors, to the camping trip that you have been dreaming of for a long time but just can not make it happen because you are to occupied with your work. Now is the time to make that dream in to a reality, it is time for you to start enjoying your life. You are decided this weekend you are going on a camping trip with your friends. However, there is a slight problem you have never been on a camping trip before and you do not have any idea what camping supplies to bring.

A smart camper knows that it is not advisable to bring too many supplies during a camping trip because it would just be too much of a burden to carry. It would be difficult walking around in the woods with a heavy camping bag; you would consume a lot of time and energy if you bought so many camping supplies. Therefore, be sure to bring only the essential supplies that you are sure to need during your trip and number one on that list are our basic needs, namely water and food. Be sure to bring bottled water during your trip for it is not advisable to drink from the fresh water from the river or lake because the water may not be as clean as it used to be.

Also be sure to have enough food ration during your trip, ready to eat canned foods are must haves for any camping trip. Also be sure to bring insect repellants with you for you will never know if there are any disease carrying mosquitoes lingering in the camping area. Besides the camping supplies mentioned above, make sure also to bring the following things with you a match and/or a lighter, a flashlight, emergency batteries, and a mobile phone just in case if there is an emergency back at home.

You must remember to bring only the right amount of supplies that would be essential for your trip. The amount of supplies that you are to bring will depend on the number of days you plan to spend in the woods, so if you are planning to go on a trip for only one day, then bring only the amount of supplies that you are going to need for one day.

Bringing only the right amount of the must have camping supplies during your trip has a lot of benefits, it will save you money for you would no longer buy things that you would not need; it will make your trip a lot easier because you would not be carrying around a heavy bag with you; and you would not need to worry about anything for you are will prepared for your trip.
