Are you in the mood for a good laugh? We all get in those moods where humor just seems necessary. Laughing at a funny thing that someone said on TV or on the radio just feels like a healing process at times. The stress of the day fades during that brief crack of a smile, and it just makes you want to laugh even more. So where can you find some funny things to look at online? Here are a few suggestions you may or may not have thought of.
Joke Sites
Yes, this one is a bit obvious. Nevertheless, joke sites are a great way for you to maybe get that giggle in a day. Some joke sites have a certain tone about them, like they are filed with dry humor or with comic strips. You might like one more than the other, so figure out what tickles your funny bone and go for it.
Picture Blogs
These are just like normal blogs, but they are filled with interesting pictures or videos to look through. They usually abide by some sort of topics that are suggested by users on the site. The images posted there are in correspondence to the topics, and they are often highly amusing. They come accompanied with funny captions that just bring the whole idea to life.
Comedy Sites
Go to the site of your favorite comedian and see what he or she has to say throughout the day? You can probably see video clips of shows that the person has done or little blog style posts that they have made in their various social networking sites. That will also give you an inside scoop on what the comedian is doing for upcoming events, so it doubles as a humor session and a fan site all in one.
Search Engines
No, these are not funny in and of themselves, but they can be if you know what to look for. Try typing some random words in your search engine and see what they turn out for you. You can do this with an image search as well so that you can find pictures that instantly make you laugh.
Video Sites
Many photo blogs fit in this category, but essentially all those sites online that allow people to post videos are a great source of humor during the day. Just look at the most recent posts and see what random videos you come across.
